I have read and agree to comply with all of the rules of John & Kellie Pato’s annual ice/winter fishing tournament at Lake Davis, Portola, CA. and the rules and regulations of the Plumas National Forest. I have agreed to assume all risks of my participation and that of my minor children. I also agree not to hold John & Kellie Pato, J & J’s Grizzly Store the County of Plumas and the USFS, The Department of Fish & Game, their officials, employees, agents and volunteers harmless for any damage, loss, liability or injury that I and/or my minor children suffer as a result of my/our participation in any activity related to the fishing tournament.

Please mail one registration per person entering the tournament. Payment for all registrations may be combined into one personal check or money order.

  • All derby participants must be registered before fishing.
  • Meet at J & J’s Grizzly Store, Lake Davis Portola CA
  • Check in time: 7:00am to 9:00am
  • Fishing Starts at: 8:00am
  • Weigh-in ends at 3:00pm at J & J’s Grizzly Store
  • Be sure to bring a valid California Fishing License to enter the tournament

 RULES
John & Kellie Pato presents.
The annual ice/winter fishing tournament at: Lake Davis, Portola, CA.
$ 20.00 entry fee

  • Total of two fish per person can be weighed in.  Combined length and weight of each fish determine placement.
  • It is the responsibility of each participant to know and abide by all tournament Rules and the rules and regulations of the Plumas National Forest.
  • Only fish caught in Lake Davis on that day will be eligible for prizes.
  • In the event of a tie the winner will be determined by the toss of a coin.
  • Any person conducting themselves in a disorderly or intoxicated manner, or in violating any Forest Service Rules, regulations, State Laws or regulations or tournament rules may be expelled the tournament and denied re-entry to future tournaments.
  • Derby officials’ decisions are final.
  • The tournament will not be canceled or rescheduled due to weather conditions.  No refunds will be allowed.
  • Tournament officials are ineligible to participate in the tournament.
  • All anglers must be in possession of their own fish.
  •  Meet at J & J’s Grizzly Store Check in time: 7:00am to 9:00am
  •  Fishing Starts at: 8:00am
  •  Weigh-in ends at 3:00pm at J & J’s Grizzly Store
